Jogging
Definition
Jogging a fence line means intentionally departing from a straight run to navigate around an obstacle using two diagonal sections that bypass it and return to the original line. For trees, Thrive may clear surface roots for post holes using a chainsaw or reciprocating saw, then custom-fit panels with welded angled bottom rails to accommodate root profiles. For underground obstacles (buried utilities, concrete footings), the fence line is offset to either side. Custom corner posts and angled panel configurations are standard Thrive fabrication — not a premium add-on.

Why Jogging Matters
How Thrive Fencing Uses It
Thrive jogs fence lines around obstacles as a standard field technique. For trees, the team evaluates whether roots can be cleared for post holes or whether panels must be custom-fitted.
